But the way we think to get that kind of safeness is misleading in most of the times ..

I am not speaking from a political prospective .. not to be misunderstood .. I am actually talking about that from a human prospective .. where we can consider the political prospective is just part of it ..

the Aim of any society is to achieve the welfare and the safeness to its citizens .. the same goes on a family level .. even for an economic organization it aims to achieve profit “welfare” and to protect its capital “safeness” ..

as we are concerned here by the way we achieve the safeness .. so we can let the “welfare” aim beside in this post ..

From my observations .. I can clearly notice that in most of the times the way we think to achieve safeness is always connected to set more limitations to others’ acts .. strengthening the punishments against peoples’ mistakes ..

that directly means less liberty .. less free thinking .. less creativity .. more fear to cross the limits ..

A society led by fear will never build a civilization ..

On a family level .. you can experience that if your Dad was so strict and that will make you do things because of fear to get punished .. if he were more understanding but still keep the same principles, you will do thing because you love to, and because you feel it’s justified ..

So, where is the weak-point over here?!

it’s in the way we think it’s better to achieve safeness ..

I say: The more we think about SECURITY the more we REDUCE people’s rights and that’s not the right way of THINKING .. WE better think of JUSTICE ..

Day: Friday, 24Jul, 8:40p.m

Cast: Me, U3, Adham, Ahmed

Mission: to escape from the alleged H1N1 Quarantine which may be in UTP by Sat morning ..

Details: on Friday’s evening we heard that there are 9 confirmed cases of H1N1 among UTP students – we found later that this wasnt true – and also we heard that UTP administration will take its decision early in the morning whether to close UTP or not ..

We were not able to check whether those reports were confirmed or not .. the only way to make sure was like to wait till the morning ..

we knew that H1N1 wasnt so dangerous to be afraid of .. but we felt that it wont be good to be inside the Quarantine .. not able to go outside UTP 😦

we thought it would be better if we went outside UTP immediately .. spend the night somewhere outside n wait for UTP’s decision to come out in the morning .. then we can freely make our own 🙂

that, was the suggestion .. we discussed it for 10 min .. 3 of us agreed n Ahmed said No!

So, we packed our important staff quickly and took the car heading to Ipoh ..

at UTP’s gate the security were wearing masks – which they didnt do yesterday or before – also at the bus-stop besides the gate .. there were some students waiting maybe for a taxi or an auto-stop .. dun know .. but its kinda strange for UTPians to wait at the bus-stop at 9p.m .. there must be something out there .. I just thought they may be doing like wht we do .. LOL

we were in Ipoh around 10 p.m .. we found a room to stay in .. somewhere near JUSCO .. we had our dinner in Mac :))

when we went back to the room .. me n Adham slept but U3 didnt .. I always say that I can sleep for 2 dayz but U3 can woke-up those whole 2 dayz .. Iam a too lazy guy .. hehehe ;DD

Next day, around 11 a.m, I called someone in UTP’s administration n asked him about the reports I heard .. he said that there were no confirmed H1N1 infected students in UTP .. those student were just having fever n they were taken to the controlled area in V6 for 7 days .. so there is no need to worry about something :S

Oh .. come on!! we did this for nothing .. hahahahaha

But we will make it fun anyways .. we played bowling .. I got a new NIKE shoes .. U3 n Adham bought some new staff from Esprit .. U3 bought 2 large pizzas from pizza-hut cause Hossam, Moataz n Saleh were just coming from Egypt n U3 promised Moataz to do so .. lucky us 😉

really .. its kinda even strange for me!!

I am not the one who likes to share whts in his mind a lot ..

It could be a change .. maybe

a fact I experienced couple of days ago

a car accident I was involved in .. n I was the driver 🙂

the car went upside down ..

strangely nothing happened to me or to my sister or to my cousins who were with me .. gratefully

wht amazed me ..

in the seconds where u feel tht u may die now ..

I was always questioning wht will come to ur mind in those few seconds ..

from the tens of movies I watched or hundres of books I read .. or even just from myself .. I thought ..

u may get an image of ur whole life in front of u ..

or feel guilty for a mistake u made ..

or even cry ..

anything ..

BUT, I just felt NOTHING ..

just as time was frozen ..

I asked my sister n my cousins .. wht comes to ur mind?

they all said .. NOTHING ..

is it the case when u really dies ..

hv no answer for this question ..

another way to answer that ..

u just hv to be feelig well about ur conscience ..

a fact tht I always believed in ..

Do wht ur conscience tells u to do .. trust it ..
